I have a finish...my November finish for
A Lovely Year of Finishes

I started it in June or July for the HO HO HO blog hop
and in August it looked like this
...on November 28th it still looked the same...
it was my project to finish by November 30...
and I finished Friday November 29th about 11 p.m....I squeaked it in!
I added a piping to match the sashing...luv it!!
It is a Rag-Tag Stitchin' pattern designed by Michelle Ridgway.
I'm not quite sure what my December finish will be for
A Lovely Year of Finishes 2013.

I have some pretty old UFO's
...I think I may pick one of them....
greater than 5 and less than 20 years old.
I have to have it posted and linked by December 7th...I can do this!!!

The winner...

...of my Bowls with Borders giveaway is
#49 Jennifer Gail...
I have sent Jennifer an email...
I'm sEw sorry I'm sEw late in announcing the winner,
but it is always better to be late than never!!

I have been sEwing lots and preserving the summer fruits and veggies
...some from my garden and some from the farmers market.
The Canton farmers market is small  but it has a lot to offer..
the 'candy' onions are seW delicious...the best sweet onion yet.

...sEw far I've made

10 jars of peach jam
10 jars of strawberry jam, 1 jar is gone!!
12 jars of tomato/peach chili
yesterday it was 14 jars of hamburg/hot dog relish
and I'm still not finished my canning.
You can find the recipe HERE.
It smells so yummy in the kitchen.
I still have to make my pickled beets and
some spaghetti sauce.
If only the raccoons would leave my yellow zucchini alone.
I would like to add it to my spaghetti sauce.
I am getting lots of tomatoes from my garden and they are seW sweet.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
I quilted and bound another donation quilt...
it will be going to Margaret's Hope Chest
as part of the 100 Quilts for Kids.

I stitched it with a sports pattern
and it doesn't look too bad.  I'm sure a boy will love it.

The pattern is called Fair and Square
 by Amanda Jean at crazymomquilts.
It is quick and easy, great for a donation quilt.
It is a free tutorial and one of many she offers on her blog.

Wow! Thank you sew much! That is very exciting. The pot holders are almost too pretty to use especially since my hubby always gets mine filthy right after I take them out of the washer.

Have you had any sleep this month? I cannot believe how much you have done!!! All your projects are amazing. And you have used the fabrics in so many different ways. Now I finally know what you have done with the little table from the thrift shop. Love it!!  Have a wonderful Halloween. We have had quite a few knocks at the door tonight - it's getting late so nearly over for the children. Did you end up with snow?

and the second number drawn is.....

and we have not 1 but 2 winners.............

Diane H  on August 4th wrote

Thanks for a chance - love Meg's patterns. Trim the Tree would be great to stitch. I am a follower.

and also on August 4th Paul wrote

My wife LOVES snowmen so that "trim the Tree" pattern would be a big hit with her!

I used to follow NASCAR religiously... Then they introduced restrictor plates and I stopped watching. I went to Daryl Waltrip's house every Tuesday for 3 years for a bible study. During the racing season he would make it to about half of the studies, but in the off-season he was there almost every week. Darryl is on neat guy, then again, most of them were back in the day, now it's just too commercial.

And please thank Charles for me. I enjoy my freedom every day and those out there on the front lines of wars and battles make that possible and I like to say Thanks to every single one of them I meet.

Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Paul

Diane H and Paul please email me your snail mail address and I will get the 'Trim the Tree' pattern in the mail.  Thank you everyone for following my blog .....reading your comments make my heart sing!!

My computer is still sickkkkkkkkkkkkkk and I'm still not liking DH's laptop.......I'm not likely to be posting much.......they might be short and sweet but I promise I will be back soon......please don't leave me......I'm planning another giveaway on the 14th of September......a Halloween giveaway.....I will be checking emails.......... just not as often.
