The Dr. says, it's good news's a virus
and the bad just has to run it's course.
He mentioned 10 days and
it is day 10 today and I am just starting to feel better
and really hope my energy level picks up soon.
I have things I want to do and things I have to do.

I turned on the sewing machine today for the first time in 10 days
and sewed a wee bit...all of 5 minutes!!
I started working on a pieced border for another 30's quilt.
I have 16 blocks left over from making this quilt.
The borders on the second quilt will be a little different design from the first.
At the moment it looks pretty good in my 'head'.
I have been working on the embroidery for my ALYoF July goal...
a couple of cat blocks are done!!

Before I caught this virus
I made a couple of wee coin purses to match a couple of Tammy Bags.
I have a plan for these wee's in my head too.
Just hope my idea works!!
You will be the first to see the end result.
There you have it...just a few of my WIP's!!

I'm linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday.

  9. Wow that is a long time for being ill. But I keep hearing about people getting it and being down for a couple of weeks. Take it easy, get plenty of rest. Cute bags.

  10. I'm glad this post found you doing a little better. Maybe tomorrow you can sew 30 min.
don't try and do to much too soon.

  11. It stinks to get sick in the summer. So glad you are "sewing through it" and making those very sweet purses. I hope someone is spoiling you and waiting on you, because after all you are the queen!

  12. Nothing more frustrating than being unwell in the middle of Summer. I do hope you get well quickly now your 10 days are up.
The coin purses are delightful!! What a great idea to go with the Tammy bags. Smart thinking.
Good luck with all your sewing projects.
    And get well!!

  13. Get well will go quickly (that is to comfort you but no one likes to be sick).

    wonderful quilt

  14. Oh I'm so sorry that you've been bitten by the bug. I sure hope it disappears quickly.

  15. Hope you are well soon I know what it is like to feel so rotten and you just want to quilt.
It is harder to be ill in the summer I think. Hugs and blessing

  16. Turning that corner feels like a miracle! Especially when it is done with the turning on of your sewing machine! Absolutely love the coin purse, adorable!

  17. I hope you are all better now. Sorry about being sick. No fun! Cute purses.

  18. Sorry to hear that you have been down and out for TEN DAYS - wow! I am certain you have had enough.
Those coin purses are wonderful! Where do you get the accessories for them?
