Thank you sooo much, Michelle,
for sharing my quilty creations on your blog.
I am thrilled...you made my heart sing!!
I love your designs and I am always thinking
of different projects to make with them.
(If you are a follower of my blog
you may have seen these pictures in past posts...sorry for the repeats.)
Michelle Ridgway is an Australian designer.
She draws some pretty awesome embroidery designs.
Please stop by her blog at...Rag-tag Stitchin' and say Hi!!
(she is on vacation now but I know she would love it if you left her a comment)
Michelle has some free designs on her side bar and
patterns for sale on her blog too.
I have used many of her designs to make tea towels.
I enlarged this sweet angel and it was perfect for a tea towel.
The design is one of her free one's!!
...I am always working on a few more tea towels...
they make the cutest little gifts.
Michelle's patterns are now available for sale in the USA.
My friend Corinna has 14 of Michelle's patterns/booklets
in her shop at Crazy Quilt Girl Fabric Shop.
Hop on over and see some of Michelle's patterns/booklets.
The tea towels are also available at Crazy Quilt Girl Fabric Shop.
I used the Aunt Martha's Vintage brand.

ReplyDeleteCongrats, Pauline. I was thinking of you today. I saw a video on applying quilt binding by sewing machine. I have not seen anyone do the end of the sewing the binding to the quilt as you suggest. It is easy to use a piece of the binding to help to know where to cut. I showed a friend of mine that trick. The only quilt she has bound, came off without a hitch. I love the Alphabet Noel - I think every day is Christmas when you are a Christian. My second favorite is the Sewing Alphabet. And, I know more and more of friends will be having grandchildren. I adore Michelle's designs. Thank you for introducing her to us. I'm glad we can now get her patterns in the USA - just as I'm leaving. It's just a trip to England - not leaving leaving.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your four year blogiversary. All of the alphabets are so cute and hard to choose just one but I am going to go with the Alphabet Noel since Christmas is my favorite time of year.
