temperatures in the low 80's...I'm sure we will pay for this in November.
This picture was taken at Greenfield Village on September 8...
it was a beautiful day too.

Thank you to everyone who left me comments.

I've decided to pick 2 winners...each winner will receive a hand embroidered block
designed by the talented Michelle Ridgway and stitched by me.

#12 Bettina who posted on my September 7th posting
"no garlic? My son and I canned last weekend and will probably do more... if I can find some tomatoes at a reasonable price. They are a little scarce this summer with all the crazy weather her in Missouri!"

and the winner of the Skates for Hire
goes to #14 Christa who posted on Friday the 13th...her lucky day.
"The Tammy bags look great! Really love the feathers on the fabric of that first one! Very colorful! ;)"

  5. Cute bag. I have yet to try one of these. I guess gluing the hardware seems a little intimidating.

  6. Thank you for choosing my comment for last month's winner!! I would love to win this month's bag ! I can see myself using it to carry bear making sewing supplies to shows etc. Just right for a pair of scissors, a needle holder, a spool of thread and some pins!!
