A gingham sneak peek and my ALYoF goal for September...

Here is the sneak peek
I took 2 yards of the large yellow gingham
and stitched sunshine, butterflies and clouds on the long arm.
It is such a happy 2 yards of quilted gingham.
I have more...as I bought the whole bolt.  I just luv it!!!
and now for my goal for September's ALYoF...
I would like to have 3 of the 6 smaller blocks embroidered
for the Vintage Tin quilt.
I'm starting with the easiest...I don't want to get discouraged!!

This is what I am doing today...batch #3.
 Yum...below is batch #1
There is no time for me to get into any trouble.
We are heading to Canada tomorrow morning...
our plans include seeing a house in the same area we moved from in 2002.

We had nasty storms again last night...all is OK here
but Wayne County in Michigan did get hit hard.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

  5. Have a good house hunting trip. No canning going on in our house as our garden wasn't good this year.

  9. I too have canned mucho lots of "maters" as we call them here in the deep south. Our mater season has about run its course by now. Exactly what is that you are canning? Salsa? Looks delicious! I'm always looking for good canning recipes.
