For my August goal for
A Lovely Year of Finishes I am going to
sew the binding on 3 fleece blankets.
The satin binding has been pinned to the fleece for a few years...
yes a few years!!
If I have a deadline...I will get them finished.
I would also like to have the blocks traced for
Crabapple Hill's Vintage Tin pattern...
stitching will come later...maybe September's goal.
There are lots of links at Sew BitterSweet Designs or Fiber of All Sorts
who have posted goals for August...check them out.
Have a wonderful Friday!!
wow thats awesome congrats to Marlene.xx
ReplyDeleteGreat goals, Pauline. Love the Vintage Tin pattern. Are you going to do it in Black and white?
ReplyDeletevintage tin looks very similar to another she created years ago....she really must like those colours and theme....and lucky Marlene....
ReplyDeletePauling I'm working on Vintage Tin too! Started it a couple of months ago but I'm finding it a bit difficult. Not the stitching...just using brown thread is a bit boring. That's odd since using red thread isn't. :) It will all be worth it when I'm finished though! blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteYay Marlene! So happy for you!! I've never thought of making a fleece blanket but love the idea -- maybe I can pin one and let it sit for a few years, too. :)
ReplyDeleteHooray, Marnie! Marlene at Stitchin' By The Lake is my cousin....truly.
