A Lovely Year of Finishes...

I've decided to put some pressure on myself.
I have a zillion UFO's and I want to finish some of them.

I have a tumbling block quilt that I started about 4 years ago.
The soft lilac and green prints are perfect for a quilt
for a little girl...or a big girl!!
It is a twin size and there is enough fabric left to make a matching pillow case.
I have the backing to piece yet and then
it will be ready to load on the long arm.

I am linking this UFO up to A Lovely Year of Finishes.
It will be my October finish.

I should have joined in January and would have 9 UFO's finished already.

Shanna from Fiber of All Sorts
and Melissa from Sew BitterSweet Designs.
They are encouraging us to have A Lovely Year of Finishes!!

I have some projects I have been working on and will share them with you soon.
192 half square triangles
trimmed
and now I have 192 perfectly trimmed 4-1/2" half square triangles.
OK, that is all you get to see for now!!

  2. Vickie said it all.... but I wondered what you will do with the trimmings? And what pattern of quilting will you do on the "tumbling blocks"?

  12. Yes, the time does come when we have to admit there are too many UFOs. Good luck with your plans. I have recently sandwiched 5 quilts and now that I can get back to using my machine I am ready to start quilting.
Hope we can both stay focused!!
