A little of this and that...and Tammy Bag giveaway

My finish for October is a tumbler quilt.
The backing is finally pieced for the lilac and green tumbler quilt.
It is going on the frame tomorrow,  and I'm sure
I will still get it quilted and bound before the end of October.
I'll show you a picture when it is loaded on the frame...
hold me to it!!

On Saturday we made our last batch of pasta sauce...
We harvested the last of the peppers and tomatoes...
we were surprised as to how many were still on the plants...
lots of sweet peppers and grape tomatoes.
For me...it is always sad to see the end of a growing season.

When we woke up on Tuesday morning...it was 59 in the house,
a wee bit chilly I'd say...yes it was cold enough
that we finally put the furnace on.

  6. I can think of a bazillion ways to use your bag... so please enter me in the giveaway!! I'm still jealous about those luscious veggies. Maybe next year I'll pay for a plot in our city's garden area... not much grows in my backyard, we have TOO many trees and little sunlight!

  18. As you post proves - homemade is best - food and sewing. The bag is a dream for a breast cancer survivor - or not. I have acquired more pink thinks in the last ten years since being diagnosed with breast cancer. I still think about it every day when I take my anti-estrogen medication. Thanks for your generosity.
