A few finishes to share...

I have been working away on my UFO's and 'comfort' quilts.
The tumbling block quilt I finished the end of May.
I started it in January and hoped
to finish it in March...I'm happy to say it is now finished and will
be donated to Safe House at the GAAQG meeting in July.
I posted about it HERE.
WOW...the lilac bushes were so beautiful this year
...our harsh winter did them no harm.

I'm beautiful pansies were eaten by the bunnies...
every pansy...I'm very sad!!!
My next finish wasn't a UFO... I started it in early April
and it went together so quickly...I finished it June 2nd...
I love really is a 'happy' quilt.

Quilt #3
This is my 30's quilt, my June goal for ALYoF.
I have progressed from this... this...
...I am happy to say it is another finish!!
Mr QnQ has to take pictures yet.
That will be for another posting before the end of June.

We are in Canada...and tomorrow
Mr. QnQ is off to watch our grandson play in a lacrosse tournament.
I am off to watch the grandgirls dance in their year end recital.
I love to watch them dance....
it will be a busy day for sure.

  1. Pauline...I can't pick a favorite!! Sorry about your pansies...sad face indeed.

  2. Stunning finishes!! And I am loving the quilting I can see!!
Your lilac looks so pretty in the background.
Shame about the pansies - and the bunnies
Sounds like you are having a lovely time in Canada with your family.!

  3. All your quilts are wonderful, but quilt #2 has stolen my heart. It must go on my "to do " list. Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. Gorgeous quilts! My favourite is the last photo! Too bad about your pansies!

  5. Oh Pauline you make me want to go back home to my sewing room! Alas, I'll just have to stay here and enjoy the beach!

  6. I love the star block in your 30's quilt. So cute.

  7. I absolutely love the tumbler quilt.

  8. I finally got my tumblers all cut but haven't started putting it together yet. I love yours and was inspired to get mine cut when I saw it earlier. And your happy quilt is wonderful too...please quit showing quilts that make me want to start something else. :) blessings, marlene

  9. I too think all three are great, but the third one is my favorite.

  10. Wow you are so productive! I love all of the quilts. Your quilting is getting so good too!!!

  11. Love yours quilts but I must say I really like the 30's quilt! Your quilting is very pretty!

  12. I really like the 2nd quilt the best. Fun colors. Congrats on all the finishes.

  13. I love all three but I think #3 is just stunning! I like #2 also. I just love that third one. I would love to know the pattern. I have a huge fat quarter bundle of 30"s fabric. I don't think mine would come out as beautiful as yours. Lots of work and it really shows. Amazing quilts and quilting!! Congratulations!
