I love your redwork too! And all your tomato sauce... apples are going to be our ( my son's and mine) project. When we went apple picking I saw a new, to me, apple... Arkansas black. It's a hard sweet but not too sweet apple. I think it will make great bourbon apple butter!

Pauline you do so much you make me tired! :) I've done far too much playing this month but that's all over....it's time to work. :( I'm having new windows put in next week and I haven't grocery shopped in a month and I don't have my fall decorations out and my husband thinks I'm never going to cook again and pretty soon I want to dry some apples and I need to can some soup.... blessings, marlene

Those redwork blocks were a huge undertaking....so many stitches, but they look beautiful! And the sentiments they express are just as beautiful! Well done!

Karen said...

They are delightful red work blocks. Beautiful work again! And still doing lots of canning.
We are just starting to pick our first crop of peas for the season and only beginning to plant our tomatoes.
