Freemotion by the River
Quilt n Queen
The first project is a mini quilt for a table topper.
It is a pattern I bought in August at the AQS show in Grand Rapids.
I hand embroidered it with black Aurifil 12 wt embroidery cotton.
The pattern is by Gail Pan Designs called- halloween.
It finishes at 10.5" by 12.5".
The witch dolls I made a long time ago
when I belonged to a craft group in Canada.
I have missed crafting with the girls these last 12 years...
soon I will be able to join the girls on Wednesday evenings!!
We will be moving back to Canada...soon.
More about that in another post.
...a closer view.
My next project is a quilt that has been a UFO for a long time.
The embroidery was started a number of years ago but never finished.
This was the one project I really wanted to get finished.
The pattern is by Buttermilk Basin called A Full Moon Needlework BOM.
I stitched the embroidery using Presencia 8 wt black
I changed the border layout of the pattern slightly and I like how I finished it.
It measures approximately 37" by 37".
and a few more pictures...
and the back...loved this fabric.
and a few close ups showing the quilting...me on my broom!!
an vampire bat
I will pick the winner on October 31st
Edited...I'm linking up with Amanda Jean.
It is finish it up Friday at crazymomquilts...
and I'm thrilled to have some finishes. Yeh!!!
Thanks for visiting, have a wicked and wonderful weekend!
and part of a jack-o-lantern.
My last project is a tea towel.
I used a portion of the pattern by Bird Brain Designs called...
Witches Hooray Table Runner.
I wash my tea towels and fabric before I start my embroidery.
I used Aurifil 12 wt black for the embroidery
a 2.5" x 22" piece of fabric and 22" jumbo size ric rac.
The scarecrow and the pumpkin was another craft project
made many years ago with Becky's crafty girls...
...one more close up picture.
I hope you enjoyed my parade of wicked Halloween projects.
Now for a giveaway...leave me a comment...
and you have a chance to win this mini quilt.
(frame not included)
Make sure I have a way to contact you,
I will need an email address.
I will pick the winner on October 31st

So, you are moving to Canada.....I hope that means we will be seeing more of those perfect witches? Well done
