WELCOME to day 6 of........

GASTLIE BLOG HOP

I was thrilled, over the top excited when Mme Samm Ghastlie asked me to be part of the
1st Ghastlie Blog Hop.
Welcome to our 1st Annual Ghastlie Blog HOP

If you have this thing for Ghastlies
and they have tied you in a knot
and you wish you could get them out of your mind
than this may be a thought.
We heard her plea for a cure
Mdm Samm was pos/it/ively sure
that we could stitch the nights away
in hopes that we MAY----
( all 53 of us)
BUT....

The side effects are Ghastlie
there is no mistaking too.
if you don't run this very minute
YOU too will catch the FLU...
We suspected all along
this was her master plan
she did not want to be alone,
with all YOU Ghastlie FANS...

I have been suffering from the nasty Ghastlie flu
for some time now, about a month actually, and think I've found 'the cure'.
....please come and see what has been ailing me.......

  108. Wow!! You have quite a wonderful Ghastlie collection there! I especially love the mesh bag. Although, that TV ironing table is an amazing idea that I will be going to the tutorial for from here. (Yes, I do use quilting tutorials - the latest was a nifty one for making a 3D pinwheel block.)

  109. You have made such ghastlie things. So hard to choose a favorite...I think the runner or the iron cozy or the cup cozy.

Please enter me for the tea cozy.

  115. You have certainly been busy with the fabulous Ghastlies. I really like so many things you've created and now you need to have me pick just one? ugh. That is really tough for me because one of your creations is tugging at my heart strings. I really love the 2nd apron because I'm drawn to the green. That shade of green is one of my favorites. BUT, that tea cozy brings back childhood memories of my Grandmother. She and Grandpa came to the States from England about 1955 and as any proper Brit will tell you, there is always time for tea. Grandma made she and Grandpa tea every afternoon and to the day she died in 1972 on Christmas morning, she put the tea ball into her silver tea pot with wooden handle setting it onto a wood shaped octagon and then put her tea cozy over top for an exact amount of time so her tea would steep to the perfect pot of tea. Then she and Grandpa would sit in their living room she in her chair and Grandpa in his rocking chair smoking his pipe drinking their tea and eating a type of hard caramel candy she got from England. Our relatives would send the candy to her and she also had tiny round tins of fruit flavored candies that I just loved, also from England all of those she stored in the refrigerator inside a metal tin she brought with her from the homeland. So yea, that tea cozy really brought back some great memories. Thank you.
