...and the winner is

allthingzsewn
I have sent her an email.

Sorry I'm so late announcing the winner...overwhelmed with our move.

Experiencing mixed emotions...
as I count down the days until we move,
originally scheduled to start July 11th
now packing will begin July 9th.
Talk about the days flying by...we just lost 2 days
and think I'm loosing IT.
The truck should be loaded
and we will be on the road heading to Canada by July 12th.
I'm praying everything goes as planned.
The truck will go to their warehouse, unload, and our goods will be in storage
until the end of September which is when our new home will be finished.
This will be move # 14 and my last move!!!!
This is the hardest move and it shouldn't be...we are going home!!
It is also a very expensive move especially with the storage.

As far as sewing goes, not much happening.
My OMG June goal is at the binding stage.

The cutting between the stitching didn't take as long as I thought.
It's been quite awhile since I made a chenille quilt.
I squared it up last night...very late.
I will stitch the binding as time permits and hopefully
I will complete my June OMG.

We are having a moving sale this weekend....priority #1.
My darling sister, BIL and niece are coming Friday night.
We owe them big time.
We are hoping to have the longarm machine taken apart
and ready to move.
Packing more boxes is also on the agenda.
The more we pack the less our packing will cost.
Am I having fun yet....HELL NO!!!!

HAPPY STITCHING EVERYONE

Winner...Winner...

...the Ruffles Blog Hop winner is Jeanie
...she wrote
Your clothespin holder is so cute.....I hope that spring and warmer weather gets here very soon so that you can put it to good use. Also love the kitchen towels....who cares if you don't have a red kitchen! Thanks so much for sharing these goodies today!
 Jeanie is excited...
she responded to my email and the pattern is in the mail

Thank you Corinna...for sponsoring the giveaway.
Jeanie was the lucky one but if you would like to purchase
the RUFFLES pattern you can find it at Crazy Quilt Girl Fabric Shop.
I think I am going to have Corinna order SPLASH for me...
and STRAWBERRY SOCIAL too...
I'm thinking spring!

If I could only find more hours in my day...
there are sEw many projects I want to make...sEw little time.
I have family coming from Canada tomorrow...
not much sewing will get done.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Thank you to everyone
who left me sweet comments about my ruffle projects.
I've read them all...
I appreciate you taking the time to leave me a comment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A number of you asked if I had a pattern for the clothes pin bag.
I purchased a McCall's pattern #M6769
McCall's Pattern M6769 Apron, Potholders, Clothes Pin Bag, Oven Door Towel
...I liked the shape of the bag
but I did change a few things.  I made it slightly longer
changed the shape of the opening and the ruffle.  I also added a pocket.
The pattern did not use batting in the bag...
I used a pre quilted fabric...it's much sturdier with the batting.
I luv how mine turned out and
you can be sure I will be making a few more.

Our few days away for some R & R....
were not so good....we won't go there again.
It was our first experience with RCI and our last.
Antiquing was not good either...
in fact most of the shops close Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I did find a Snowman BOM by Sweet Gatherings.
I bought the 12 months at the Curiosity Shoppe in Oak Harbor Ohio.
It was their last pattern set they had.

I am having difficulty viewing their website today,
Millie has a lot of cuteness, I will be checking out her website again later.
