February is almost over...where has the month gone?
I'm happy to be linking up
to February's linky party for ALYOF
and I still have 2 days to finish another project.
I'm working on a few...hopefully I can finish another one with a ruffle.

Yippee...another UFO is finished.
The pattern is free on the Moda Bakeshop.
I quilted it with a Bubbles pantograph.
and backed it with more dots...I'm luving dots this year.
I will be making this quilt again...
as I really want to make it with a chenille backing.
Thank you Melissa and Shanna,
I'm on track to finish 12 UFO's.

Pauline - another great quilt!!!! I used your binding tutorial again - many thanks. I'm binding a king size DWR to put in a quilt show in June. The machine part went like clock work. The handwork is a real bear. You would think I didn't prewash the fabric. I don't always prewash - I know I did this time - it's red on red tone. I didn't want to have it bleed. And I remember ironing and ironing it before I sent it to the longarm quilter. The fabric is very hard to get a needle through and it's hard to see with the tone on tone, too. My jaw is locked with tension and even though I'm alone, I'm trying to watch my words. GRRRRR! I have one side done and about 1/2 of another. I have a queen quilt to scallop and bind. I made a mate to it for my sister-in-law when she was ordained as a pastor about 3 years ago. It's been quilted that long. I couldn't decide if I wanted to scallop mine too or not. I've never put a quilt in a show and decided it was time. The DWR was made in about 3 weeks by a friend who was 89. She's now 91 and I want to honor her work. She wouldn't take any money for making the quilt. I bought the fabric, but that's a lot of work. She made it on a treadle machine. I had bought a nice sewing machine for my step granddaughter who wanted to learn to sew. She never came back to my house and the lady said she'd like a new machine, so I gave her the sewing machine. A couple of weekends ago, the step granddaughter told me (when I took my grandson back to Mommy) that she wanted to come home with me and make a quilt that afternoon and her mom could pick her up and they could then make the almost 3 hour trip back to their house. She has no idea I had bought the machine and gave it away. I told her after having her brother for 2 days, I was tired and I was coming home and going to bed. lol She is 12 and has no clue about sewing although her maternal grandmother sews and quilts. Again, another great quilt and thanks for the great tutorial on binding. I'll be using it again, soon. So, it's terrific even on curves!!!!
