I can't believe 2010 has come to an end.
The years are going by way too fast
...it seems that the older I get....the faster the days and months go by...
I'm hoping 2011 will slow down just a bit
*****
A few of new years resolutions
- finish some of my UFO's
- come out of my box a little more....expand my comfort zone
- try not to be afraid of my Gammill long arm and start practicing so I can put it to good use
- use more of my stash and buy less fabric
- be the best daughter, friend, mother, nana, sister and wife I can be
- give more, share more, expect less
- blog more and leave more comments
....and now for the excitement....
Thank you MSamm

....This blog is managed by the amazing Madame Samm :)
Hey, this is exciting!! How wonderful to see you over on the Stash Manicure blog header. Wow!
ReplyDeleteAnd well deserved, too, I might add.
What a great way to start the New Year!!
I read your resolutions with interest and think that I could adopt nearly all of them myself. I'll see what happens.
I hope this wonderful start to the New Year is only the beginning of all the great things to come!
Congratulations. This is one of the most beautiful quilts I have seen, and my favorite time of the year - CHRISTMAS.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your resolutions list, that reminds me....

Joyce

ReplyDeleteI'm loving all your resolutions, my friend! I will help you come out of your shell (like you didn't know that already). I am looking forward to spending another year playing with my Bestie! Happy New Year. Look out 2011 HERE WE COME!!!

ReplyDeleteHello Pauline, My name is Melissa Osland and my husband, Tim Osland, is a first cousin of Ross Head. So, I am not sure what that makes me, but I call Marg, Aunt Marg. We were at their house on Boxing Day and I saw Nicole working on a quilt. My grandma was a wonderful quilter and I have always enjoyed looking at quilts. Marg took me up to her room and showed me her stash and some of her quilts. I have a crazy quilt, a wedding ring wreath quilt and a Dresden Plate quilt. I am currently not a quilter, but a scrapbooker and learning how to knit. Marg showed me your blog and encouraged me to look at your artwork. Happy New Year to you and I appreciate you showing your skill. Melissa Osland - Waterloo, Ontario
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year....and as far as your resolutions go, you've already nailed 5 & 6. As long as I've known you, you have always given more, shared more and expected nothing in return. We're all thankful for that :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year
ReplyDeleteLOVE YOUR BLOG I can't believe you never told me about this.
Every time we talk I get real gung ho for starting a quilt. If we lived closer we'd probably spend all day every day making quilts. But so far I have only worked at making group quilts with my quilting group. Now I can sit here in Canada and read your blogs and get my inspiration any time I need it. I have finally started cutting out my very first quilt so i will keep you up to date on the progress; since I will be hand-quilting it I am sure it will not be done for a long time.
Congratulations from Your Sister In Law
