The Dr. says, it's good news

...it's a virus
and the bad news...it just has to run it's course.
He mentioned 10 days and
it is day 10 today and I am just starting to feel better
and really hope my energy level picks up soon.
I have things I want to do and things I have to do.

I turned on the sewing machine today for the first time in 10 days
and sewed a wee bit...all of 5 minutes!!
I started working on a pieced border for another 30's quilt.
I have 16 blocks left over from making this quilt.
The borders on the second quilt will be a little different design from the first.
At the moment it looks pretty good in my 'head'.
I have been working on the embroidery for my ALYoF July goal...
a couple of cat blocks are done!!

Before I caught this virus
I made a couple of wee coin purses to match a couple of Tammy Bags.
I have a plan for these wee bags...it's in my head too.
Just hope my idea works!!
You will be the first to see the end result.
There you have it...just a few of my WIP's!!

I'm linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday.

  6. Sorry you've been down, Pauline. I'm recovering too and I'm wondering why we are getting bugs in the middle of July. Oh well. Hope your energy levels increase with each passing day and you are back to sewing for more than 5 minutes. Take care!

  9. Wow that is a long time for being ill. But I keep hearing about people getting it and being down for a couple of weeks. Take it easy, get plenty of rest. Cute bags.

  11. It stinks to get sick in the summer. So glad you are "sewing through it" and making those very sweet purses. I hope someone is spoiling you and waiting on you, because after all you are the queen!
