...where does the time go..today is day 4 of the
Tammy Project Bag Blog Hop
I'm so glad to be participating in this fun blog hop
hosted by Mdm Samm at Sew We Quilt.
Thank you Mdm Samm for making this blog hop possible
and for designing this sweet bag pattern...I luv it!!
I will definitely be making more of them.
I will definitely be making more of them.
My first bag is a sewing kit....
...a bag I can carry all my hand sewing supplies when travelling in the car
or taking to quilting.
The outside fabric is a sewing print by Debbie Mumm with an
orange pin dot by Moda.

or taking to quilting.

It's a black gingham on the outside
with a yellow, orange and white floral print lining.
The crocheted flower has a yellow button center.
You will find some needles, a variety of flosses,
tracing pens, scissors and patterns...
...I was able to fit 6 patterns in the bag.
It definitely holds more than you think.
Some of my favorite embroidery patterns lately are Rag-Tag Stitchin'
designed by
Michelle Ridgway...an Australian designer.

Your Tammy bags are lovely! The black check is my favorite. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCute fabric with the sewingmachine and notions! And the flower adds a special touch to the gingham. Very sweet!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute fabrics Pauline ! The flower on the gingham one looks perfect on it !

Hi Pauline..nice to see you and your bags...are those sewing machines on your bag? great bags as always you shine
ReplyDeleteYour bags are beautiful! I can't wait to make one. :)
ReplyDeleteCute, cute Pauline - I can't believe you got 6 patterns in there! I only made 2 of these bags and I'm using them both for makeup but I now know I want more for my sewing projects. There's never enough time to make all I want! I haven't tried any Rag-Tag patterns but I've fallen in love with Kathy Schmitz patterns - am working on a BOM of hers right now. blessings, marlene

ReplyDeleteGreat bags! I think the sewing fabric is my favorite... thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThr bags are lovely. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove the gingham with the crocheted flower.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how much will fit in that bag---the blousy, pear shape is a little deceptive when you look at the outside of the bag. Then of course, there are pockets that expand a bit too.
ReplyDeleteBoth of your bags are lovely but I like the gingham one the best with the white crocheted flower. Very sweet bag in the true "Tammy" sense.
Your bags are so pretty!! Great job!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing your bags today

ReplyDeleteBoth bags are lovely but I think I love the first one. Thanks for having a give away.
ReplyDeleteMy husband would really like me to make one of those bags for our car trips...it would keep me organized in the car. I'm currently working on a pincushion to attach near the car door handle ( he tired of pins being stuck in my car seat!)
ReplyDeleteAwesome Tammy bags!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your bags are totally wonderful. The gingham one is "me" and the lining and the flower are just so sweet. I am astounded at how much stuff the Tammy bag will hold.

ReplyDeleteVery lovely bags Pauline I especially love the Debbie Mumm fabric as I don't see it very often anymore I really loved her when I first started to quilt. Those bags sure seems to hold lots are they hard to make if your hands have a lot of arthritis?
ReplyDeleteAwesome job!! Love your Sewing Kit one!! (Is it Flannel? I made Jamma pants from flannel of same print!! LOL)
