Sew We Quilt

I've been sewing like a mad woman and it is now time to share
my parade of Hugs and  Kisses projects.

I luv embroidered tea towels with and without the crocheted edgings!!
The angel stitchery is a free design by Michelle Ridgway called Heavenly Friends...
Michelle is an Australian designer with patterns for sale on her blog.
I luv her designs...she sure has lots of cuteness to stitch!

The 4 patch heart stitchery is a pattern from Birdbrain Designs.
Robin offers lots of free stitchery designs and
has just added a few new designs to her website.

Next up is a pillow, also a free stitchery design by Lynette Anderson.
I did not follow Lynette's instructions to make the pillow
 I enlarged the stitchery and used a
9-1/2" (unfinshed) background square.
The 4 red fabrics are cut at 2" wide and the taupe fabric is cut at 2-1/2" wide.
I combined 2 of Lynette's fabric lines
Scandinavian Christmas and Christmas Fun fabrics.
The Christmas Fun fabrics are available at Crazyquiltgirl.
~~~~~~~~~~~
My next project is a Valentine quilt...58" x 58".
Here it is hanging on the clothes line....snow on the ground.
the colors are a bit off
I bought the fabric about 5 or 6 years ago and stashed it
.....until last week.
I told you I was sewing like a mad woman!
It was a panel of 9 vintage Valentine hankies with
coordinating Be My Valentine fabrics by Exclusively Quilters
...this picture has better color
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My last project is a table runner....I luv it's simplicity!

It is a free pattern by  Sherri at A Quilting Life
I quilted it with hearts and daisies, and finished it with a 2 fabric binding.

I used some of the left over fabrics from the quilt to make the table runner....
and still have fabric left to make another one.
So....let's have a giveaway....
Would you like to win the table runner??
I'm giving it away to one lucky follower...

A few simple rules:
1.  tell me where you live
2. what was your favorite project in my Hugs and Kisses parade.
3.  be a follower of my blog
4.  one comment only
5.  I must have an email to contact you.

Giveaway ends midnight Friday February 22 and will mail it anywhere...

  66. Thank you for an amazing Hugs and Kisses revue. How can you expect a gal from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to pick a favorite. Well, it would have to be the Valentine quilt. I adore each project in a different way. Thank you for including the pattern name for each of the projects. I get frustrated when I find a project and think I'd like to do it and have no idea of a project name. Of course, I don't get around to most of them, yet it's frustrating to have no idea of the pattern to see if it's even near my skill set (to stretch me a little; encourage me to learn; or hone some existing skills). Many thanks for blogging and the inspiration. Thanks for showing an example of the two fabric binding. It's beautiful. Anyone would love to have the tablerunner. You are very generous.
