Give away ending soon...Friday night with friends

It was FNWF's last night and I managed to finish putting the borders
on my Valentine quilt and pieced the backing.
It's now ready to load on the long arm, maybe tonight.
I also worked on another secret project...
...both are for the Hugs and Kisses blog hop at Sew We Quilt.
I will be posting on February 15...hope you stop by for a visit.

January finishes
This Stacked Coin quilt was a UFO from a few years ago...
now it's quilted and bound.
It is a pattern that has been around for a few years
by Amanda Jean at Crazy Mom Quilts.

These crochet baby blankets are now finished too.
The crochet edgings are finished...yippee.
and these frilly scarfs are all the rage in Canada and the US.
My friend Sharon made me one of these scarves...luv it!!
When ever I wear mine, someone is sure to ask
where did I get mine??
The You Tube video was no help to me....I'm sure I watched it 20 times.
I've been told I knit the European way and
I have been knitting for probably 45 years and it took me 2 weeks before I figured it out.
I was ready to give up and wait until I saw Sharon again...then the light bulb went off!!
I have to buy some more yarn...but every time I go to JAF they are sold out.
They sell out as soon as it is back in stock!!

I made a few for Christmas gifts.
These are fun to make now that I figured out how to knit them.

Yes, those scarves were all the rage here for Winter, too. And I am sure there will be many more with next Winter only a few months away. I have noticed that the stares are starting to stack up on yarn.
    Hope you get some!!

Please could you tell me the name of the yarn you used for the scarves - I really need to make one (or 2 or 3 or ...)
