I have been sewing a project that will be at Quilt Market.
I finished it on Sunday...it is beautiful
and will share it with you after market.
It did take a lot of my spare time to complete.....65 pieces in each 12" block
and .....yes I would like to make it again, exactly the same!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today I have only 2 fall blocks to share with you...I ran out of time to be more creative.
I hope you like them.
Today I have only 2 fall blocks to share with you...I ran out of time to be more creative.
I hope you like them.
...the first one is the 2nd seasonal block from the
Bird Brain Designs pattern called Seasonal Patchwork
My block measures 10.5 inches
I used tea dyed muslin with DMC Perle cotton #8
I stitched the Winter block for the Think Christmas blog hop.
I still have the Spring and Summer blocks to stitch.
...for the second block I used a Buttermilk Basin pattern.
The original pattern is a 8" x 8" pillow using wools and cottons.
I used 6.5" squares for the 4 patch
to make it to fit my table topper and changed the design of the bird.
The bird was left over from a project I made 2 years ago.
Live Laugh Love finishes at 12" x 12"
I luv it...Ü
don't you just love the sunflower batik....
The fabrics were from my stash
