Leafs Me Happy Blog Hop day 7....and a giveaway

Today is my day to participate in the Leafs Me Happy blog hop!
A big thank you to hostess, Cherry of Cherry Blossoms Quilting Studio
and to  Mdm Samm for organizing all the blog hops and
for being are fearless leader!!!

The blog hops are lots of fun and sEw inspiring....and best of all
you meet lots of new friends.

Today's inspiration comes from these bloggers.....
Tuesday October  9
Quilt n Queen....this is ME

 I have been sewing a project that will be at Quilt Market.
I finished it on Sunday...it is beautiful
and will share it with you after market.
It did take a lot of my spare time to complete.....65 pieces in each 12" block
and .....yes I would like to make it again, exactly the same!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today I have only 2 fall blocks to share with you...I ran out of time to be more creative.
I hope you like them.
...the first one is the 2nd seasonal block from the
Bird Brain Designs pattern called Seasonal Patchwork
My block measures 10.5 inches
I used tea dyed muslin with DMC Perle cotton #8
I stitched the Winter  block for the Think Christmas blog hop.
I still have the Spring and Summer blocks to stitch.
...for the second block I used a Buttermilk Basin pattern.
The original pattern is a 8" x 8" pillow using wools and cottons.
  I used 6.5" squares for the 4 patch
to make it to fit my table topper and changed the design of the bird.
The bird was left over from a project I made 2 years ago.
Live Laugh Love  finishes at 12" x 12"
I luv it...Ü
don't you just love the sunflower batik....
The fabrics were from my stash
Thank you for stopping in for a visit...I hope you are enjoying the Fall hop.
I have a giveaway, your choice of the Bird Brain Design pattern
or the Buttermilk Basin pattern
Picture of Seasonal Patchwork Samplers
Just leave me a comment and please make sure I have a way to contact you.
I would love it if you choose to follow me but it is not necessary to win.
I will pick the winner on October 13
....WOW...I have reached 700 followers....
A giveaway for my followers is coming on October 15
come back to see what I will be giving away on Monday to one lucky follower!
I am enjoying a little R&R, DH has a few days off.
I will be taking a few days off too...no computer...and will return in a few days.
Happy Stitching
How cute! I have never been a fan of batiks - just a personal preference - I thinks you may just have changed that. The sunflower is just a smash! I just became follower #710! WOW! I love the embroidery. If I am fortunate to be the winner, it will be a difficult choice. I love embroidery. I have a 12 x 12 frame and I have never made a thing for it. I think I've had it for over a year and a half. I just sits bare on my hearth. Thank you for taking time to participate in the blog hop and inspire me and others. Now I have more things on my to-do wish list. Again, thanks. That's one of the things I love about the hop - all the fun things I get to see and want to try.
