Table Topper Blog Hop....

...hosted by Mme Samm at Sew I Quilt

Today is my day and I'm 'tickled pink' that Mme Samm asked me to participate.
Thank you Mme Samm for always believing in me...

The table topper frames are available at Ackfeldwire .

I'm excited about my creations and hope you like them too.
The first one is a message board...

...made with chalk cloth,
the fabric is Java by Deb Strain for Moda....it was in my stash.

The embroidery is Aunt Martha's iron on transfer called Java Break #3997.
I purchased it at Joann Fabrics.
There are 9 different embroidery patterns that would be great on
some tea towels and pot holders too....they are on my 'to do' list.
The bottom of the message board has pockets....
with one to hold the chalk
and the other to hold cards or bills that have to be mailed.

My second topper is my Cafe Mocha  message board...
In the larger pocket are cards I received.

Topper # 3 is pretty special to me.
The verse on the table topper was printed by my DGD1.
when she was just learning to print.
a special Christmas gift to me.
It was framed in a wooden embroidery hoop
and has always been in my sewing studio.
I removed it from the embroidery hoop and cut it down to make
the topper....I luv it!!
I'm going to hang it on the wall...(o:

The verse is hard to see but it reads....

'Even when I can't see you
I love you all the time'
She lives in Canada and I'm in Michigan.

It was a page from a book I gave her when she was a baby.
The book was called 'I Love You All The Time'
by Jessica Elin Hirschman & Jennifer Elin Cole

And for my last topper I have a Halloween one!

The embroidery is from the pattern by Oh My Bloomin' Threads
designed by Ronene Wilkinson
and it is called Eeek.
The bottom are log cabin paper pieced blocks.

Thanks for stopping by to see my parade of table toppers.
and now I have a giveaway...a chance to win

one of the coffee message boards
and the
Halloween embroidery pattern.

The pattern shows the embroidery made into a pillow.

Please let me know if you are interested in a tutorial for the message board.
It there is enough interest I will do a tutorial for them in May.
I purchased the chalk board fabric at Fabric.com.
