I am still having issues with Blogger and am wondering if anyone else is having problems
.....and this has been going on for about 3 weeks.
I can leave comments on some blogs
but I have come across a number of blogs that I have been following for some time
and I cannot leave comments on them....I get a blank screen.
I also get a blank screen when I try to view the comments on my own blog.
If anyone has any answers and can help please let me know.
Last night was FNSI and I was stitching.
I was working on a table runner....
It is a older Bunny Hill Designs pattern called Cinnamon & Cocoa.
Yes it is a UFO and thought it would be a great Easter table runner.
I have the borders to do yet....
...a narrow inner red border and a white outer border.
I may get them on later today after I do some laundry and cleaning!!!
I'd rather be sewing but the cleaning just can't wait any longer.
I have not forgotten about my giveaway for my 500+ wonderful followers.....
...hoping I can find a solution to viewing my comments on my blog soon.
I do receive comments on my email
but it would be so much easier if I could pick a winner using my numbered comments.
Please don't give up on me....I am in blogland
hugs
If you are using an older version of Explorer bcause you have windows XP that is your problem. I have reluctantly gone to google chrome and it has eliminated those problems. Some blogs are no onger compatible with the older version of explorer and unless you upgrade you system you cant up grade Explorer. hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteI love your table runner. The red and white looks so great.
ReplyDeleteThat is so frustrating! I do not have any answers to your problems. All I can tell you is that your posts are coming through properly on google reader and that I can see everything on your side bar including all followers.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous little stitcheries and they do look great as a table runner. And of course perfect in red.
Good luck with all the blogger hiccups!
I found the same problem as Colleen...give Google Chrome a try...it does seem to be better; most of the time.
ReplyDeleteAre you using Firefox? Try Internet Explorer. I have to switch over because I am having problems too.
ReplyDeleteHope this helps.
Hugs
I'm on Windows Vista and have been having the same problems. I went to comment on this post earlier but couldn't!
ReplyDeleteI just downloaded the latest version Of Internet Explorer but it doesn't seem to have helped so now I'm trying Google Chrome and yay! I can comment again!
I'm having problems as well.. I use Firefox, and tried accessing through Internet Explorer-- same problems... mainly with post *new* posts on my blog-- it just times out... and if it *does* finally post, it takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r.... Hope they fix it soon!
ReplyDeleteI use Firefox and have not had that problem, but my comments used to be numbered and now are not. I am not sure why that happened, but will see what I can figure out.
ReplyDeleteI have heard a number of people say they are having problems. Hope you find a solution. I love your bunny table runner, it will brighten up your table for sure.
ReplyDeleteI love your table runner!
ReplyDeletecan I say... red and white... my fave!!! I love the little runner!!
ReplyDeleteI hate to even say it but I'm not having problems. I hope I don't jinx it! The bunnies are so stinkin' cute! I love this pattern - don't remember seeing it but I can see why you chose to do it. I'm partial to red but I bet it would be cute in pastels too. blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteI don't have any suggestions - except Google Chrome if you aren't using it. I don't have any problems since I switched. I love your BOM quilt. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteI am having the same issues. My blog came up blank for me today....it evenutally came around .....so it is not just you.
ReplyDeleteLove love your stitchery
I have also been told to switch to Google Chrome this past week. Not because I was having the same problems you are but because my computer has become so slow while blogging. And freezing up on me also. So I am planning on trying it soon. Love your bunnies it will be a wonderful table runner.
ReplyDeleteLove the embroidery. So cute yet so simple looking.
ReplyDeleteCinnamon and Cocoa are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI have Windows 7, and I had to switch to Firefox from IE8 to be able to comment and stay signed in. It can be so frustrating!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are having problems, hope it all gets back to normal soon. Love your bunnies!! :-)
ReplyDeleteSorry blogger is giving you a hard time, I hope you'll get back to normal real soon. I love your Easter runner. I think it will be lovely on your table. Great FNSI.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI love your table runner. The embroidery really makes it special :)
Regarding your problem with comments, I had the same problem with my blog last week. I checked the Help Forum and found that Blogger made some programming changes that does not "agree" with Internet Explorer. You can do a "work around" by changing your comments from embedded to either full page or new window. But this won't help you comment on other blogs that haven't made that "fix". Here's the link to the Help Forum: www.google.com/support/forum/p/blogger/thread?fid=6008dda39301b4cf0004b6869eb14429&hl=en
Good luck, and I hope Blogger gets this fixed for all of us soon!
I can't wait to see more of the table runner. It will be great this Spring!
Love your runner , that is a really cute design. As for blogger you can try downloading Google Chrome and use that as your browser , it solved my issues with blogger and especially with commenting. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteYour runner is very pretty. I'm currently embroidering some Raggedy Ann blocks in all red and looking for border and block ideas to frame them in. Love the pinwheels in this!
ReplyDeleteLovely table runner! I agree with everyone else in switching to Google Chrome. My techie friend says that since blogger is owned by Google they are trying to make it harder for people using internet explore to use blogger. He said that if you switch to Chrome(if only for when blogging) or change your comment section to the pop up window(like mine) then you should be problem free.
ReplyDeleteThat will be great for Easter. So cute, and I love anything made of reds and whites! :o)
