I'm back.....with another giveaway and

........I have a new computer...and back to blogging!!
My dead computer was old...almost could pass for an antique!
I'm  not looking forward to the day I have to get a new phone....
I'm still using a flip top with a pull out antenna
NO laughing PLEASE.....
yes, you too, Mama Spark....no laughing
 and....
the battery doesn't hold a charge....sEw I know the day is coming
when I will have to upgrade to new technology again!!

I've finished block #3 from the Bird Brain pattern 'Here Comes Santa'

and I also finished piecing the WONKY SANTAS quilt....
It is a Lynette Anderson pattern using her new fabric line
'Scandinavian Christmas'

Back in July....I had decided I would do a giveaway
...on the 14th of each month

July 14th was a FQ bundle of Lily and Will II
August 14th I had two winners.....both Crabapple Hill patterns and

yes I know September 14 has come and gone and I promised
a Halloween giveaway in my last posting

DH's laptop died too....2 computers in one week = no blogging!

Since then I have gotten a new computer...DH is still without a new laptop
He is )o:
DH figured out how to upload pictures this week.....
sooooo today he gave me a quick lesson...
...yippee now I can blog again!!

My favorite Bird Brain Designs pattern is
'Snowmen and Reindeer Bluework'
I've stitched 54 blocks.
So far I've gifted three quilts using 9 of the blocks in each quilt....
....one of my first giveaways was a set of 9 of the blocks....
they now live with Karen in Australia.
I still have 18 blocks to make into 2 more quilts.

Giveaway CLOSED Wednesday October 5th at midnight
 and the winner's name POSTED Thursday morning.

October 15th giveaway will be a Halloween one.

  5. I'm a follower. I love her stitching site. I never saw those bubbles to store balls of floss before, and they are a good price. Those are neat. I'm definitely keeping a note of this site.

    So, my favorite pattern would be the sampler. I'd love to give my try at covering all 18 various stitches.

  8. Thank you Pauline. I love Bird Brain Designs )although why I haven't been a follower or gotten hooked up with the newsletter before now is anyones guess). I did sign up for the newsletter, their blog and have been following yours for awhile. I love any of the Bird Brain Designs - especially if it has any of their snowmen in it. But, I've been coveting the Four Seasons in the Garden pattern for awhile.

  17. ROFLOL, How old is that phone??? Seriously folks it's THAT old! I love you anyway even if you are technologically challenged. Maybe I should buy you a new phone for Christmas?   35. I am so pleased you have computer access again! Wonderful. Thankfully we have children who will keep us up to date with all the new computer related info. I will not laugh at your phone as I have the same. It still works!!!!! And I still take photos with my camera, not my phone. I like it that way.
    I love seeing your Wonky Santas. They look fantastic. Beautiful sewing. And your Here Comes Santa block is so beautifully stitched!
