Fun prizes and it's fun blogging to anyone who hasn't tried it yet, just do it! You won't be disappointed. Thanks for entering mine as well.
ReplyDeleteYour profile states you have no sense of direction; this is my husband to a T. He gets so lost I always wonder how he ever got around before we got married. One time he went to a business to give a job bid and couldn’t find his way out of the building; he ended up walking into a meeting and someone helped him!

ReplyDeleteAnd...you have a new follower. :)
ReplyDeleteI believe Pam's quilt is #9. And it's quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHello, I am a new follower.
ReplyDeleteI have been blogging for a few years now. I don't blog every day, just when I feel the need or have something to share. I like to show my projects, quilt and non-quilt related. I have made some wonderful friends through blogging and wouldn't have met these lovely people if I had not done this. When I started out, I didn't think anyone would care or want to hear what I had to say. All of my friends stay in touch with me to see what I'm doing. Several call me and ask me what's wrong if I don't post. I have learned alot from other bloggers and their tutorials. Blogging is now a part of me and I don't think I'll ever be able to stop. Good luck and I hope you continue to blog.
ReplyDeleteMama Spark's quilt is number 9 of 15. I voted for her and I hope she wins. It's beautiful..thanks and Happy Fall.
ReplyDeleteI blog because it's fun and a place to share my creativity. I get so much inspiration from fellow bloggers.
ReplyDeleteI am following.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm a fairly new blogger as well. I don't put too much pressure on myself about my blog, because I only have a bit of time to dedicate to it and because it's for me. So I blog about quilts but about other things that strike my fancy too. I've decided that it's nice when people follow and to get comments but I'm not going to be desperate about it - again in the end the blog is most important to me. Hopefully I'll make some friends (and I have made some already. Thanks for a chance to win your prize. I love Halloween fabric. I'm a Canadian so was thrilled to see you changed your rules.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have become a new follower.
ReplyDeleteMama Sparks is # 9 of 15. I voted for her.
ReplyDeleteI'm relatively new to blogging (since the end of July). Quite a few people read my blog already, which is surprising. Also, I love having a country counter up that shows the many different countries that my readers come from.
ReplyDeleteI am following you.
ReplyDeleteI visited Mama Spark, and her quilt is #9 out of 15

Ok I'm not sure I'm going to do this comment thing right...so for my first comment...it is to the new bloggers...I'm new also and was not sure I wanted to do it...but I did...afraid of the privacey stuffy..well do lots of reading searching at google and all questions will be answered..I think the privacey thing is what stopped me from being part of the blog world..now that I am..wow wow is all I can say..it's great, it's wonderful and opens up sooooooo much information in the quilt world, not to mention all the wonderful wonderful people you get to me.....Good Luck to Everyone
ReplyDeleteSo here is my second post...I'm now a new follower...I'm sorry to say that I hadn't left a post in the past, only because I'm soooo new to this blogging thing, that I'm still getting my feet wet..After this giveaway is finished, I have bookedmarked all the new blogs I have discovered and will go back and add them to my list of blogs I follow..If you have a chance, hop on over to my blog giveaway and enter....Oh by the way thanks for reconsidering to include us Lonely ole Canadians lol....
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot to mention...that your giveaway is great...the Schlep Bag alone is worth winning...I love love homemade things....:)
ReplyDeleteNew follower here from Ontario - small world - I was in Waterloo a few weeks ago visiting Lens Mills :D
ReplyDeleteBlogland is incredible - it's amazing to get to "know" people (usually from far off places!) by reading about their lives on a computer screen. I've met many internet people over the years, and in fact will be going to visit one of them in Pennsylvania in 2 weeks, hehe (hi, Mickie!) :) Let's not forget about the tutorials that bloggers are so generous in sharing ... and the inspirational photos and links and pictures ... blogland is THE BEST!
Well hello there! Thank you for the lovely comments you left on my blog. Coincidentally, I, too, only had 13 followers at the start of the "Fall into Fall" giveaway. I've been blogging for about 9 months now, posting my first post on January 22, 2009. It's taken me a while to get into a rhythm though. I felt I was either posting too lengthy posts, or too far in between. Then I just decided I wasn't going to worry about it anymore, and just let it come naturally. I feel like I'm talking to friends when I'm writing a post, and I love when I get comments back. As you can see, I can get very wordy, and did not follow your instructions to keep it short and to the point. Oops!
ReplyDeleteHello Quilt n Queen, I'm now following your blog, and I love your "Fall into Fall' giveaway offering!
ReplyDeleteVoted for Mama Spark's quilt, and it's number 9! Also now following her blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the community feel of blogland, I have met some amazing friends. I have learned so much from reading the blogs. I can talk to fabric designers, pattern designers and quilters just like myself.
ReplyDeleteI have become a follower of your blog.
ReplyDeleteMama Sparks star quilt is # 9 and very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love blogland and blogging for many reasons but this kind of giveaway is just one! Quilters are very generous and LOVE networking and sharing stories. Large event giveaways, or just posting a blog allow us to do that every day.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower. I hope you get a chance to pop over and visit my giveaway and maybe you'll like what you see enough to follow along there, also. If not, that's alright, too.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower of your blog Pauline. I don't quilt BUT one day I may because your blog makes quilting so cool !!
ReplyDeleteI love reading blogs...they give me lost of ideas
ReplyDeleteMama Sparks quilt is #9 and very vibrant. Hope she wins!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the generous giveaway!
Blessings, Jessica

ReplyDeleteI love blogs bc there is so much inspiration out there and I love the tutorials. The only thing I don't like is it makes my quilts feel so inferior :(
You will love blogging. There are so many wonderful people and events to get involved in. Inspiration is never ending.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of Pam's too. Isn't she amazing? I met her when I participated in her RW&B quilt for the soldier. I am glad to see she is a finalist as I did vote.
ReplyDeleteblogging is AWESOME! You get to show off to lots of people!
ReplyDeletei'm a new follower
ReplyDeleteThis is my first year of blogging, and I have enjoyed most of it. For me, I just want to keep a balance and not let the blog own me or let others own my blog. I've certainly been more creative since beginning it. Good luck and thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI visited Mama Spark's blog, clicked on the star quilt, got to the voting page, but couldn't view the quilts. I think I got a peek from one of her posts, but can't tell you her number. That's quite an honor to be a finalist in the McCall's contest. I love their website.
ReplyDeleteBlogs are great! A new blogger can find great insight and inspiration online to the average quilter!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower
ReplyDeleteBlogs are a great way to learn to quilt! I learned to quilt on the internet in the 90's when all we had was email and ascii drawings. Blogs have pictures and video!! and the ability to search for anything you want!!
ReplyDeletehave not made it to blogworld but think it must be a great way to make new friends with similar interests.
ReplyDeleteThanks for such a fun giveaway. I am a first time reader but I will be back. Making friends in blog land is what it is all about!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower!
ReplyDeleteWell I love blogland, because I'm super busy but it is my mini-vacation in quilting world! I don't have any quilting guilds or many friends (military life deems I have no life!) Its nice to see new patterns and designs!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy seeing what other people are making. That is what I like about blogs.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what a schlep bag is but it is cute! Newbies can get great quilting/crafting tips and tutorials on various blogs, and, have fun 'getting acquainted' with others all around the world.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Follower of your blog now. Oh, BTW, I copied off the Bran Muffin recipe. In the directions you mention adding the soda but in the list of ingredients it's missing! How much soda? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love blogs! You cannot imagine how much enthusiasm you give us. I love tutorials, especially. I love to learn and I love to see what's going on in other states. I wish I could do it - for those of you that do, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love blogland because I don't
ReplyDeletehave many friends around home that
craft. Keeps me on my toes craft wise.
Thank you so much for the opportunity
to participate in the giveaway!
We started blogging about the same time. I only have 5 followers. I don't care. I love blogging and reading others blog. Try thinking like me, blogging is a place that I can record what I am doing with pictures and words. Hang in there it will get better, look how many followers you have now.

ReplyDeleteI became a follower - you seem to be gaining them quickly!
ReplyDeleteI think the biggest thing to remember about blogging is that while feedback is great - it's what you think about yourself and your work that matters most.
ReplyDeleteI'm addicted to blog land. Spend way to much time here. Its a great way to find hints and quilting ideas along with organization ideas and of course the best one, help whenever you need it.

I am a new follower too.
ReplyDeleteI went to Pams blog. I was already a follower there - yeah! I missed the star quilt voting - but what an honor to be in it! I searched and searched but could not find what number quilt she was - I did not want to "cheat" and look at earlier comments either. You may disqualify this chance if you like - but I did find her quilt and it was lovely.
ReplyDeleteHello there....I'm hoping over from the Fall In To Fall giveaway....you came over and invited me to follow your blog. I did just that and now I'm seeing you are having a giveaway too!!! How exciting.
