A little of this and that...and Tammy Bag giveaway

My finish for October is a tumbler quilt.

The backing is finally pieced for the lilac and green tumbler quilt.

It is going on the frame tomorrow,  and I'm sure

I will still get it quilted and bound before the end of October.

I'll show you a picture when it is loaded on the frame...

On Saturday we made our last batch of pasta sauce...

We harvested the last of the peppers and tomatoes...

we were surprised as to how many were still on the plants...

lots of sweet peppers and grape tomatoes.

For me...it is always sad to see the end of a growing season.

When we woke up on Tuesday morning...it was 59 in the house, 

a wee bit chilly I'd say...yes it was cold enough

that we finally put the furnace on.
