I know how to do counted crossstitch, but without hte grid I am lost! I love the look though. Add it to my list.

And those bindings are wonderful. Mine are not great but getting better and better each quilt I do, and about four ago I started stitchign the back down. Not nearly as intimidating as I made it out to be! I wish I could come and spend the afternoon with you learning how to do it your way with little mini (doll?) quilts...that would be nice!lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06661838247761249000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3477692163337077440.post-41552223116435337792010-12-08T23:11:55.874-05:002010-12-08T23:11:55.874-05:00Your snowmen blocks are fantastic. However my daughters and grandkids are coming over to bake on Saturday so I'll just have to send it all home with them! It's a fun Christmas tradition. I really like the quilt and blue work! Plus would love to see a tutorial on how you do your binding!
Laura TLaura Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12017862488946312184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3477692163337077440.post-36781955830449432252010-12-06T09:04:44.294-05:002010-12-06T09:04:44.294-05:00Hi Pauline, I came over from Madame Samm's (is...Hi Pauline, I came over from Madame Samm's (isn't she a doll!) and enjoyed your post very much. I love, love, love embroidery but do more redwork than bluework. I've never thought of using a Turning Twenty pattern to showcase my embroidery but I love that idea. I enjoy doing binding too but I can't say mine looks quite as good as yours. I am learning to get those corners looking good though - it comes much easier with practice. :) I'll be posting at Stash Manicure tomorrow - a really quick table runner tutorial that makes great gifts. And I'll be having a giveaway at my personal blog so come over and visit! blessings, marleneStitchinByTheLakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04501479854150315011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3477692163337077440.post-45660661602542761662010-12-01T04:32:32.152-05:002010-12-01T04:32:32.152-05:00Can we talk about your binding..oh goodness me Pau...Can we talk about your binding..oh goodness me Pauline..just sew perfect it is...and your blocks..over the top excited by those...Sew queen of binding...should be your new name....blessingsSparkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17456305568995973018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3477692163337077440.post-9073506302159226992010-11-29T05:13:45.034-05:002010-11-29T05:13:45.034-05:00This looks lovely Maria!
