My blocks are stitched...

...my birdie BOM by Little Miss Shabby!!

I last blogged about it back in August when I had finished the August block...

LMS block 8 closeup

Since then they have been sitting in a pizza box and in April I opened it and finished stitching the blocks.

...here is September

...and October

...and November

...finally December

The quilt top is finished, I'm really happy with it.
I made a few minor changes and I will add some embellishments after it is quilted.
I just can't get a good picture of the whole quilt...I'll try picture taking again tomorrow
or I may wait until it is quilted and bound.

hugs and happy stitching

Pauline

  12. Great to see these blocks back from the lost and found. In fact, I should do the same with a few of mine. I enjoyed seeing your binding tutorials again. There is always something to work on and improve. It is great to have your tutorials as a reminder to keep me on track.
I must try the double sided idea. I really like the look that gives a quilt.
    Thanks for your great posts.

  23. Your blocks look nice and cheerful. I followed the embroidery directions yet assembled them in a different way and hand quilted. Once you finish I know you will love your birdie quilt. Good work!
